El universo sonoro y poético de Romana
Romana es un libro de poesía que da origen al próximo disco de la cantautora Naty Hernández. La historia comienza con la publicación de Romana el 21 de abril de 2026 en la Feria Internacional del Libro de Bogotá (FILBo), donde se presenta por primera vez el personaje que da nombre al proyecto.
El primer capítulo musical llega con Testaferro, una canción sobre un contrato territorial entre dos amantes donde es el cuerpo quien pone la fiducia y firma. Más adelante aparece Leche, continuando esta conversación sobre el deseo, el cuerpo y la pasión, y expandiendo el relato iniciado en las páginas de Romana

Romana is a poetry book that serves as the foundation for singer-songwriter Naty Hernández’s upcoming album. The story begins with the publication of Romana on April 21, 2026, at the Bogotá International Book Fair (FILBo), where the character that gives the project its name is introduced for the first time.
The first musical chapter arrives with Testaferro, a song about a territorial contract between two lovers in which the body itself places the trust and signs the agreement. The conversation continues with Leche, further exploring desire, the body, and passion, while expanding the narrative that began in the pages of Romana.

Testaferro es una metáfora sobre los acuerdos invisibles que hacemos al enamorarnos. Inspirada en la figura legal del testaferro, la canción imagina una relación donde el cuerpo presta su nombre, firma los contratos y responde por las deudas del deseo.
Testaferro is a metaphor for the invisible agreements we make when we fall in love. Inspired by the legal figure of a proxy or front person, the song imagines a relationship in which the body lends its name, signs the contracts, and assumes responsibility for the debts of desire.

Leche es una canción sobre el deseo como una forma de reconocimiento. Lo que comienza como atracción se transforma poco a poco en asombro, intimidad y memoria. La imagen de la leche aparece como un símbolo de origen: un lugar donde la pasión, la ternura y el recuerdo de haber sido amado se vuelven indistinguibles.
Leche is a song about desire as a form of recognition. What begins as attraction gradually transforms into wonder, intimacy, and remembrance. The image of milk emerges as a symbol of origin—a place where passion, tenderness, and the memory of being loved become indistinguishable.
El Libro / The Book
Romana es un encuentro con el cuerpo y el deseo femenino, inspirado en la intensidad de los amantes y la profundidad de ser devorados con hambre y sed. Personifica a la mujer criada en Latinoamérica, donde los simbolismos religiosos le permiten vivir sus pasiones sexuales, y sirve como inspiración principal de las canciones del nuevo disco de su autora, Naty Hernández. En un panorama dominado por la música comercial que privilegia el deseo masculino, expresado a menudo desde un lenguaje explícito y vulgar, aquí se expone el mismo deseo con la misma claridad pero desde la poesía

Romana is an encounter with the body and feminine desire, inspired by the intensity of lovers and the depth of being consumed with hunger and thirst. It embodies the woman raised in Latin America, where religious symbolism allows her to live out her sexual passions, and serves as the main inspiration behind the songs of her author Naty Hernández’s new album. In a landscape dominated by commercial music that privileges male desire—often expressed through explicit and vulgar language—this work presents that same desire with equal clarity, but through poetry.

Natalia Hernández Morales (Itagüí, Antioquia, Colombia, octubre de 1989). Cantautora, poeta y ejecutiva de la industria musical. Autora del poemario Romana (2026). Nominada al Latin Grammy (2023) en la categoría Mejor Canción Pop por Bailo Pa Ti, interpretada por Monsieur Periné. Músico, compositora, bajista y guitarrista, egresada de Berklee College of Music en Boston, Massachusetts (2018) y de la Universidad EAFIT en Medellín (2013), con becas completas. Sus publicaciones musicales incluyen Canciones Esenciales (2023), Soltarte (2023) y Romana (2026).

Natalia Hernández Morales (Itagüí, Antioquia, Colombia, October 1989) is a singer-songwriter, poet, and music industry executive. She is the author of the poetry collection Romana (2026). In 2023, she received a Latin Grammy nomination in the category of Best Pop Song for “Bailo Pa Ti,” performed by Monsieur Periné. A musician, composer, bassist, and guitarist, Hernández graduated on full scholarships from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts (2018) and Universidad EAFIT in Medellín, Colombia (2013). Her musical releases include Canciones Esenciales (2023), Soltarte (2023), and Romana (2026).
